Why Does Office 2011 Keep Asking Me to Activate Again

I never subscribed to Office 365 just may have agreed to a free trial that came thru with one of the updates
Here is what happens-
when I open a file now it is a read only file with a bulletin that says "Activate Part to Crate and Edit. Buy Function or sign in to activate Office if your've already bought information technology." When I click on this the next screen says: "Activate Office to Create and Edit. . . To start editing documents, buy Part or sign in to actuate Function if you've already bought it." Then there are ii choices Purchase Officeand Already bought Office? Sign in.
So, I sign in. The next screen says: Sign in . . . What email address or phone number would you like to use to sign in to Word? If you lot already have an account that y'all utilize with Office or other Microsoft services, enter information technology here.
And then, I enter my email address: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The adjacent screen asks for my password, which I put in.
On the next screen, it says:NO LICENSE FOUNDNo license was found for *** Email accost is removed for privacy ***. Purchase Office for this business relationship or employ some other account to actuate Office if yous've already bought it. Under this information technology says:
Buy Office and Utilize Some other Accountand Skip for at present which brings me back to my read only doc.
In that location is nowhere where I tin can enter the Product Key or other info.

Somehow, your registration has been wiped out. Perchance by the trial version. Since you never purchased an Role 365 licence, information technology at present can't activate.
This is the showtime time I have heard information technology getting itself into such a mess with an Role 2011 install.
I am afraid your but choice at present is to ring Microsoft Support. They volition exist able to assistance y'all to re-install Role 2011.
Nosotros can't exercise information technology here: they have to give you a special one-time download to get the installer back.

i take the same problem..this is very annoying ..all paid I've activated..few months subsequently i can't save say it says for me to activate....information technology doesn't actuate then i do the aforementioned procedure equally this person same deal..frustrating
